Hello,
I will wrote that post in english because of my itallian is not enough to explain that correctly.
I already shared my screen exchange on my fofo topic. Now I am producing how to remove radio +bezel + display.
First of all talk about tools,
- A small unsharp knife.
- Torx 20 screwdriver
There is small cover just under the head unit.
It is locateds middle of aircondution outlets.
There is small clips at the corners of cover. Use knife for releasing them. (blue circles.)
When you oncovered that, you will see 2 pcs screw which I circled red. Those torx20 screws. When you unscrewed them, you will ready to take out front panel. If you could not, use "unsharp" knife for relasing that spings. Those are located on both side of front panel.
You have to be carrefully because of wiring. Cabling is short. You should have to unplug the socket which is located center of front panel.(red circled below picture) There is a small clip side of plug, when you push that, it will release plug.
Now, you were removed front panel.
You will see naked headunit and screen.
Note: below picture is quoted. It was not taken by myself.
There is 6 pcs screws for fixing headunit. Two of them for headunit, 4 pcs screws for display.
One more time you have to be carefull when you are taking them because of wiring.
Display has a only one cabling socket on low level display.
At navigation unit there are navigation antenna cables too.
There is two different socket behind of head unit, but only one of them is using. I think that it is about Sync.
And antenna cables are balanced cable. Those are just for radio.
Head units are same at all models. No need to change when you are upgrading to navigation unit. You will need navi antenna cabling, front panel (actually no need that, you may use voice control or steering wheel controls) and display. Display including navigation.
Part numbers are;
5" Navigation + display unit
AM5T-18B955-DG
Front panel ;
AM5T-18K811-CD
BM51-18835-BE3JA6 (plastic cover)
